LS-30
Built by the Landing School, the LS-30 is a comfortable daysailer and competitive club racer. It's a sleek, modern design with an open transom and bulb keel. The boat is well-balanced and stable, so its crew can sit comfortably in the cockpit and not on the rail. The boat also can perform very well as a racer with a minimal number of crew (generally four people in a moderate breeze) who control the boat from the cockpit.

The LS-30 is in her glory in 10 to 15 knots of wind. She handles like a dream, turns on a dime and stays flat without a lot of crew hiking out. Once the LS-30 turns a corner and heads downwind with a kite up in a strong breeze, she takes off on a plane.

Students in the Performance Racing Class compete on the LS-30s. They are also available to members for the Wednesday PHRF Series and local regattas as part of our Sport Boat Racing program. These boats are also available to members looking for an exciting daysail. Go here for rates.
